BlackBook Lowdown

Don’t be fooled by the cartoonish “Hark! Cocktails!” sign out front—this watering hole-in-the-wall has a no-nonsense vibe about it. Gruff bartenders serve blue-collar boys on barstools who act like they own the place. Homer Simpson and his buddies meet up to drown their after-work/out-of-work sorrows and commiserate about the little woman. Pool table, Ms. Pacman, and decent juke, but we still like Horseshoe better.
