Editorial Review

It's welcome to the neighborhood for this throwback LES speakeasy. New occupant of the gutted bowels of former Lotus Lounge. Painted credo outside which reads "home to lively debate and raucuous reverlrey," seems forced. Show, don't tell. But still, bar is backed by a towering wall of scotch, bourbon and other blood-bubblers. Variety is the spice of drinking. Flashback touches include a library ladder for premium tender access, and if that doesn't do it, the tables are frankenstein creations of castaway wood from an 18th century Bronx bar. Beware of ghosts.
