Familiar wood and steel design, straightforward carnitas/pollo asado/carne asada opts, lunch–centric Union Square locale. But wood is reclaimed, platos rather than bols, and never, ever owned by McDonald's. Sustainable from pinto bean to sour cream. Woven stools and instrumental funk create placid backdrop for getting all carnivore on that hormone–free, veggie–diet, local chicken taco.
