Former oil company HQ. Current Jetsons-style room renters have long hogged center-stage in L.A.'s skyscraper/crack jungle. Rooms come in 10 sizes with hot stereos, giant TVs and some with transparent showers, so bring a conservative Christian friend and start snapping pics. All-nighters stoked on 24/7 room service and 7-2am access to rooftop pool disco, which still manages to go off on weekends, while many just write it off, believing that the scene truly matches its namesake. Roof Bar heats up Sunday afternoon’s when big-name DJs scratch wax. We don’t need no water. Let the motherf@#%ker burn.
