Duke's Hotel Bar

Editorial Review

The best spot in London to sip James Bond's signature martini, the Vesper, made by a white-jacketed barman in a splendidly understated setting. The crowd is well-tailored, and tends to include vaguely disreputable boldfaced names from Tatler magazine. It's tucked in the back of a centenarian hotel, tastefully renovated in 2007. Book the penthouse for a private party because of its views of Buckingham Palace and Green Park.
