DuMont

Editorial Review

Reasonably priced bistro eats for the mature young Williamsburger. Small space with friendly service and a serene, beautiful back patio. Noteworthy, and pleasurably stinky, macaroni et fromage. Really good coq au vin, reliable and hefty burgers. The scallop ceviche is delish, and that's a great beet salad if you're into that sort of thing. Just don't ask for substitutions unless you want the wrath of the chef on your shoulders.
