BlackBook Lowdown

A Norman Rockwell scene, except for the adolescent boys slinging treats in Rocawear and trucker hats. Malts, shakes, and egg creams made with life-affirming homemade ice cream and big gobs of nostalgia, all from a century-old soda-fountain. Sundaes and banana splits like you've never dared dream. Queens classic is much-beloved in the neighborhood, with good reason, though getting there involves both subway and bus if you're not local. Gooey delicacies are perfect pre/post Mets.

Absolutely Incredible

If you like Ice cream - there are plenty of places you can go. If you like really really AMAZINGLY perfect ice cream, malts, sundaes, and shakes - then Eddie's is the ONLY place to go. The flavors are unique and amazing, and some of them change every few months, but most are classics that are always there. try the banana and you might think you died and went to fruity ice cream heaven.
