El Chile Cafe y Cantina

Editorial Review

Additional outpost for Tex-Mex resto known to do the classics, and do them well. Roasted pork enchiladas covered in Oaxcan red mole is a must try after claiming no. 1 spot in Austin Chronicle's Hot Sauce Contest, but plenty of other options too; chile relleno, chorizo quesadillas, queso flameado. Upstairs patio ideal for happy hour rendezvous (margaritas a' plenty) and house made salsa is gratis. Can't get enough? Jars of El Chile's roasted jalapeno salsa for the road.
