Despite moderate prices, feels like Baja's version of the Cipriani Hotel. Pool sits openly in the jasmine garden, nothing but blue sky overhead, while rustic chandeliers hang over 19th century hacienda hallways and tile floors. The old world majesty is actually spread throughout two hotles, the Suites being a more exclusive upgrade to the Inn. When not lounging in the sun, guests can opt for yoga classes and room service from nearby restaurants in downtown San Jose, with decent South Asian even on the menu. The throwback charm and small town setting might give you Three Amigos flashbacks, but trust these Dads in their Polos know value when they see it.
