Look in any events guide around the city and you’ll see live shows at El Junco listed almost every night. Around Madrid it’s known as the best place for late-night-jazz. For jazz lovers out there, every Tuesday and Sunday they have live jam sessions that are gratis (free). On the weekends, after the scheduled events, DJs take to the floor and get the party groovin’ through the night. On weekends there is a velvet rope, but before 1:30 a.m. it's easy to get in.
