Chef Akhtar Nawab ditches the E.U. to return to his roots—Kentucky and India. Nouveau American cooking with über-creative touches. No fear of gamier tastes, i.e. pigs feet crispy style, wild boar and cumin, sweetbreads with pineapple and pink peppercorns. Designer Jason Volenec reprises rustic chic of Cantina and Allen & Delancey with romantic barn-wood ceiling, red drapes, whitewashed brick.
