Don't count this Gold Coast lounge out of the game yet just because they've got a more successful operation going down in Wicker Park with Empire Liquors. Elm Street Liquors still gets its crowd, even if it's a more touristy, desperately-seeking-a-scene set. The music is pretty consistent and tight, with DJs spinning contemporary hits, and we still love its unique look of elm tree lounge furniture. Also, the people are friendly, including the doorstaff.
