EM Café

Editorial Review

One of those unsuspecting little spots that is cool without even trying to be. Don't tell that to the chic-geek crowd that flocks here for hearty homemade soups like curried spinach with chickpeas. Quirky daily sandwich and salad specials are made with creative ingredients like arugula, brie, mint and fennel. Where's the beef? Flank steak with black beans or terriyaki chicken and rice will hit the spot for non-veggies. Spartan dark wood tables and white chairs appease the minamalist, while the comfy chocolate brown sofa creates a haven for lounge lizards.
