Editorial Review

Downtown's original striking oasis spins authentic old L.A. stories under Moroccan majesty in dazzling lobby and plentiful rendezvous spaces. Suites bring the North African atmosphere to new heights, possibly fit for the Sultan of Brunei's underlings, while the man himself stays at the Four Seasons, turned off by the staff. Crazy private throw-downs for hire in the highly-cushioned Room Tangier or Rick's Place. We easily fade away in an opium-like stupor in the incredible Marrakech suite.
