This classically boho boteco was bestowed as the best bar at which to end the night by Veja magazine, an accolade proven by the number of throngs persisting at wee hours in the morning irrigating their thirst with chopp (draft beer) while waiting for a table that might not ever open up. Black-and-white checkered floors, shelves heavy with cachaca from all over Brazil and framed caricatures of MPB stars on the wall peer down on chipper patrons, snacking on the beef milanese sandwich—the stuff of future cravings.
