Boutique design hotel with a different personality (and matching aroma) in each room. Fiber optic lights in the rooms create a "rain of stars" effect, and there's Chinese lacquer everywhere. Throw in a red leather elevator and a lounge that shines like Vegas from all the sparkling Swarovski, and the whole thing begins to sound a little Elvis. It somehow works and is (at least today) not a bit cheesy. Just off of the market street Mouffetard in a relatively calm part of town.
