Fonda San Miguel

Editorial Review

You know you're doing something right when the James Beard Foundation invites you over to prepare a meal. Twice. It’s true south-of-the-border around here, from the homemade interior Mexican food to electric folk-art paintings. Some of the comida will be foreign to you, though Americanized Mexican dishes like quesadillas and enchiladas make an appearance. Anybody worth their weight in a palate has shelled out major bucks for the divine brunch.
