Cobble Hill antique shop gives away all its proceeds to non-profits. Pretentious much? Actually, owner and staff are really down-to-earth, offer intriguing collection of eclectic art, furniture, housewares. Artisanal stationary, too, plus smattering of "books that matter" and small backroom for the kiddies. No plastics there, natch. Prices closer to thrift store than design shop. Great for picking up that odd sap barrel, vintage birdcage, or set of candlesticks that really rounds out your living room. Feel good about it, too, as your hard-earned greenbacks ultimately end up in worthy hands.
