Fornino

Editorial Review

The heart of the Slope has a thousand slice shops and not a decent pizza place to be found. Williamsburg fave Fornino ain't changing that, despite triple-threat bar, takeout, and mall-ish dining room. Vintage newspaper collages, black and white pics for atmosphere. First-rate ingredients: evoo, buffalo mozzarella, and San Marzano tomatoes, but grilled pizza is slow to make fans. Antipasti, pasta, and entrée array, should you be feeling la dee da about Al di Là.
