Frankford Hall

Editorial Review

A brick wall-lined ruin transforms into a monumental beer hall, courtesy of restaurateur Steven Starr. The 400-seat space (240 outside, 160 inside) mimics all the stops of a traditional German biergarten, specifically with steins of beer, gigantic soft pretzels, bratwursts and yes, tons of sauerkraut and schnitzel. A go-to fair weathered spot for old-fashioned fun (ping-pong tables on-site) and an exclusive draft tap dedicated to Dogfish Head's My Antonia.
