Frida's

Editorial Review

Slightly lower-key than its Andersonville sister, new addition to the Southport corridoor is a welcome one, with nary another Mexican joint in sight. Tangy, housemade margs, perfectly-sweet sangria and a well-blended dish of guac should get you started. Follow those with some chile rellenos or plantain enchiladas with the mole negro (the owner's grandmother's recipe) on the little outdoor patio. If the Southport people peeping isn't enough, there's always the Frida Kahlo artwork to dish on.
