Fritzel's European Jazz Pub

Editorial Review

Though it's a fine home to traditional New Orleans jazz, Fritzel's actually features Coltrane-influenced, serious jazz musicians on evenings when it feels like losing money. That can't be said of other jazz clubs in the supposed jazz Mecca that is New Orleans. Either way, it charges Bourbon Street prices while delivering a level of class that the rest of the rue can only dream of. The atmosphere is serious; people who come here are serious about music.
