The former home to The Children's Place becomes reinvented as Athleta, the Gap Inc. retailer that promotes feminine-focused athletic apparel. Previously an online-only shop, the 4,000 square foot Rittenhouse space is one of the first East Coast stores of the performance-driven outfitting brand. Slate-lined and perked with purple, enthusiasts of yoga, cycling, swimming, golf, tennis, running, etc., will spot all the necessary, adequately-designed gear in stock–everything from clothing, footwear, and accessories.
