Gorgeously appointed brasserie is what you make of it. Either classy, high end dining spot, or warm neighborhood bar. Both aspects succeed big. Zinc bar, mosaic tile, and stress worn mirrors give relatively brand new room a lived-in history. Cafe tables, booths, and a large bar that wraps in a corner around the front dining room. Under $20 entrees are a steal in quality (sauteed skate, duck confit, choucroute garni) and for the upper class art gallery/ sketchy homeless dudes neighborhood's usual price points. In further reaches of South End, but free parking makes destination convenient. Cocktail list is a work of art.
