Old mansion hosts energetic live-music parties from jazz to samba rock for happy groups who reserve tables and rooms, with each one artfully, colorfully painted in a different theme and named. Found furniture down to the chandeliers and long sofas give it a slightly squatter’s or frat house feel. Crowd comes dressed up in heels and button-up shirts, ready to flirt the night away while waiters rotating through the place hustle to keep up. House gets packed before 9 p.m., when cover charges apply, which means by 11 p.m. the party is already jumping with those who have already gotten their drink on.
