We savored the crostini alla Toscana smothered in olive oil and then spoiled ourselves with bowls full of their risotto a piacere! No room for the tartar or carpaccio, but much obliged for the Porcini mushrooms, seeing that they came in by train that morning. By the time they tried to tempt us with fire-grilled meats and vegetables we had already slipped into a food comma.
