With all of the buzz surrounding Glass, one would think that Glass is the best club in Dallas. It's not. Although it's not a dump by any means, it's just your garden variety nightclub. You know the drill: scantily-clad girls, guys with overly-patterned shirts, grumpy door guys with clipboards and pretty, hustling waitresses. It's dark, loud, claustrophobic and surely some sort of fire hazard, but some people like that. There's nothing that stands out about the place in its layout, decor or theme. There's not much in the way of special events, guest DJs or notable partygoers. Even the drink selection is garden variety. It's hot now because it just opened, but sadly there's nothing else to report. Maybe the spot will find its groove, but for now, it is what it is: the shiny new toy in the local nightlife scene.
