Delightfully eclectic interior romanticizes Cold War culture with irreverent references to the KGB, Dr. Zhivago and, of course, Moscow's Gorky Park. Stylized paintings of vintage planes and faded photos of fallen Comrades adorn DDR wallpaper in four cozy rooms. Ironic Iron Fist innuendos are all over the menu, with entrées dubbed the "Proletariat" or "Intelligentsia" and classic Russian dishes like Borsch, Blinis and Wareniki (handmade dumplings filled with poultry, potatoes, spinach and other feel-good ingredients). Late breakfasts and plentiful vodka round out the menu and are probably best, or at least on-theme, when paired together.
