It's not a wine bar, it's a gastroteca. And those guys in the aprons aren't bartenders, they're gastronomos. Still, functions a lot like a wine bar. Comprehensive all-Italian wine list complements small plates, served with panache. Seasonal focus in salads, crostini, crepes, pâté. Intimate old-school/old-world feel, with all the exposed brick and pressed tin such things require. Friendly and lively, good choice for a first date.
