Incredible upholstery, spiraling staircases and marvelous ceilings all delight. Treasures from all époques give a personal and refined aura, seen nowhere else in Milano. Cantina Don Carlos’ massive wine cellar, would bankrupt even the mafia and the eclectic, pre-opera restobar is certainly on par with La Scala’s regality. Just think an urban version of Gosford Park.
