Great Hall Balcony Bar at the Met

Editorial Review

Toss the door girl a shiny nickel and climb the grand staircase to the area's classiest watering hole, with live classical piano and a string quartet. The drinks aren't the greatest, but the display case views are intoxicating enough that you might stumble into an exhibit on the way out and get some culture for a change. We won't tell. Friday and Saturday only, sadly. Last call 8pm.
