Eichi Edakuni embraces ch-change by mixing up a completely different menu every month. Watch the bald and goateed Kyoto chef in open-kitchen action as he puts out six to eight small plates over the course of several hours. Recently named "best new wave Japanese" by Le Fooding. Expect high drama, strange and delightful pairings, great sake and a good-value 45€ prix fixe. Don’t expect to have any choices or an easy time reserving. Tables are booked weeks in advance and in person - the phone is only occassionally answered. Closed Monday night and every other Sunday.
