Under Maple Tree Square’s flagstone streets lies an antique space with a thoroughly modern mandate. Artisan meats, chunks of cheese, smoked fish and antipasti are a cut above boring bar nibbles, with a bison meatball bunwich and daily soups and stews filling bigger gaps. House-made craft cocktails get down to boozy business, but virgin versions can keep you secretly sober. Nightly performance stage features unique, improvised collaborations, menus are on record albums decoratively painted by artist Andy Dixon, and there’s even a menu of free-to-play board games, including Jenga and of course, Trouble.
