Nary a night goes by when lineups arent bursting out the door of this insanely popular Vancouver import. The concept of the Izakaya is simple: eat, drink, and be merry, Japanese style. Sake and Sapporo flows freely, while curious eaters and buzz-seekers alike fill communal tables and nosh on shareable plates like grilled beef tongue, deep fried brie cheese with mango and blueberry sauce, and more raw fish than you'll find at your local pet store. Oh and when the waiters get loud, they're being friendly not angry. Trust us.
