Guu With Garlic

business thumbnail

Editorial Review

Second izakaya in a growing Guu empire currently at 4 locations, and between the high decibel staff calling irrasshais and   orders and the eponymous garlic dishes, it's more a party spot than an intimate place for dates. But for animated conversation and agemono over tall bottles of Japanese beer, sake or wine by the [sic] grass, it's a juicy stew of homesick ESL kids, tourists and die-hard fans of all things nouveau and Nipponese.
