Editorial Review

This bike-messenger-themed restaurant has bar stools made from bicycle tires and walls lined with Critical Mass flyers. But the crowd isn't just stinky dudes with dreadlocks and heavy-duty chains. The excellent vegetarian/vegan-heavy menu draws all kinds, and the very reasonable prices keep them coming back. For a little over $10, you can refill the 3,000 calories you burned dodging cabs on your chopped 10-speed with mouth-watering blackened catfish tacos and a cheap beer.
