The Hard Hat Lounge may be just another blue-collar Vegas dive bar, but what sets it apart is the strange feeling you've stumbled into the setting of a Chandler novel or Lang movie. The Hard Hat is a small, lone building whose neon sign glimmers feebly amongst the darkened warehouses and shady corners of Vegas' seedy 'Naked City." Inside, the vintage wood bar and chromed barstools are to be expected, but the enormous wall mural painted in lurid, pulp-novel-cover style of square-jawed men playing poker, drinking booze, and ogling big-titted pinups is enough to give anyone's film noir fantasies flight.
