Old men prop the bar plying ‘recent acquired friends’ with alcohol in a fruitless search for beer goggles. Walls plastered with plasma screens make it an ideal venue for football and rugby fanatics. Beer's watered down, but reasonably priced. Succulent sticky ribs bigger than your own. Cheapish, not necessarily cheerful, but an ideal mid-range option.
