Editorial Review

Although the decor of this barbecue spot is about on par with a grade school cafeteria, the food is the best barbecue you'll find in this part of town, maybe even the whole North Side. The menu isn't typical, with a wide array of vegetarian-friendly sides and whatnot. This is down-home cue done right: no frills, with a menu variety that starts with ribs and ends with rib tips (actually, they have burgers, chicken, etc.). Ask for extra napkins. The meat always seems to strike that perfect balance between savory and smoky.
