Alas, the Horse-a-Round is now an ice cream parlor. Still the same place, but now the children are allowed in.This rotating, carousel-themed bar offers a bird's-eye view of the wacky acts on the Circus Circus midway. Best-known as one of the settings for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the Horse-A-Round is a pastel-overkill, My Little Pony-gone-perv spot for a drink. Too bad the folks at Circus Circus don't seem to realize that: The bar is always closed, save for a few Saturday-night hours. Still, it's easy enough to grab a beverage elsewhere, hop the fence, and wait for one of the lacksadaisical security guards to halfheartedly shoo you off.
