A dark, Gothic-Orientalist pastiche of leather, tassels, and rich textiles, it’s moody and modish, drawing a sexy clientele that delights in the dramatic interiors. Fifth-floor rooms sport over-street balconies, while rooms 21 and 31, facing the courtyard, are the quietest boltholes. A classic double room for €230 and a suite for €360.
