Hotel Burnham

Editorial Review

A glamorous mix of historic location and modern style located in the Reliance Building, the world's first steel-frame skyscraper. After a $30-million restoration, the place resonates with the men's club atmosphere from its heyday-silk draperies, leather chairs, fireplaces and walls of books-which makes it ironically modern and sexy. Almost like a boutique hotel, rooms here are gorgeous and very reasonably priced, starting at $150. The attached Atwood Cafe is also a gorgeous piece of history.
