Once home to one of Paris’s oldest boulangeries, this 17th-century building has been completely redone inFelliniesque neo-Baroque splendor by Christian Lacroix. Each of the 17 rooms in its winding halls offers a different interpretation on the Marais, from trad toile de Jouy atmospheres to ’60s modernism to Zen minimalism. Don’t be surprised to see Scandinavian floral wallpapers juxtaposed with polka-dot carpeting. Lacroix’s riotous “collage fresco” walls are a ton of fun, and the etched-glass, heart-shaped bathroom mirrors are a cutesy touch. Cool little bar. €190–€350
