Small boutique hotel near the Champs with a neo-classical style to mimic the neighboring bourgeoisie. The designer made his name by tricking out the ultra-luxe George V. For the Keppler he mixes black and white with discreet splashes of color, and lots of Louis-era (XV, XVI) antiques. With plenty of natural light, the result is surprisingly cozy. Rooms start at €300 and run to €1000 for a two-room suite with Eiffel Tower view.
