Hotel Le Dauphin

Situated on a slightly seedy strip across from the convention centre, this is what you'd call an up-and-comer. 
A perfectly good place to rest your weary (and mojito-filled) head after a day of gallavanting around the Old Port, but the W this ain't. No bar scene, no fancy-shmancy, but 72 clean, smoke-free rooms that are tasteful and bigger than a shoebox. Pros include free breakfast, free internet access, and flatscreens. Cons include the odd wino on the doorstep.
