The old-school gothic lettering of its logo on the front of the building belies the lack of pretention at this boutique four-star Loop hotel. The lobby evokes scenes from Casablanca, with palms, fireplace, and pillow-covered fainting couches harkening back to the Golden years. The suites are similarly decorated to the hilt and feature ameneties from WiFi to in-room "meditation stations" where you can ponder on a plush pillow.
