This left bank boutique hotel combines the romance of Paris past with the modern convenience of Manhattan present (or Brooklyn, at the very least). The location is a visiting francophile's dream - two blocks south of the pont Neuf and nestled among art galleries and wine shops of Saint-Germain. Rooms are beautifully prim, but with the necessary WiFi and mini bar. Downstairs, in the former Augustine college that dates back to the 13th century, a suit of armor watches over your fireside chess game in the lounge. There's even a jacuzzi and fitness center down in the spotless vaulted cellar.
