Editorial Review

Based on literary salons of mid-20th century and modeled after New York’s Algonquin, complete with jazz artists in the lobby lounge every Friday evening. Corinthian columns, heavily beamed ceilings, dark wainscoting, warm yellow walls painted with Matisse-inspired line drawings, stacks of leather-bound classics inviting intellectual discussion and witty repartee à la Dorothy Parker. Original period artwork and quotes from John Steinbeck to Dashiell Hammett on walls.
