Cheerful rooms, a small library, and a tree-filled terrace make this a reliable Left Bank landing pad. Polished enough for those with a taste for the nearby boutiques of Saint-Germain (Armani, Missoni, YSL, Sonia Rykiel), but reasonably priced at 120-180€. Ideally situated for tourists with less than 15 minutes walking to the Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens, Invalides, and the Musée d'Orsay. Neighborhood is stately and quiet with very little local nightlife, but good restaurants (l'Ami Jean, L'Epi Dupin, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon) are within stumbling distance.
