International beautifuls and dialed-in businessfolk love this slick spot in the residential 16th, not far from the Tour Eiffel. Opened in early 2005, it was studiously decorated by furniture designer and Philippe Starck alum Christophe Pillet. Contemporary stone walls, glassed-in bathrooms, oversized tubs, masculine modern furnishings, chrome and leather beds, black parquet floors. Acidic color schemes pop against the natural tones. Free DVD library is a nice touch, as are the portable room phones and slippers. Hotel bar, "la Grande Dame," is an homage to Veuve Clicquot champagne. Rooms for €280-385.
